Rediffusion are a live laptop duo from London. Their deep electronic dub converges minimal techno with abstract roots and intricate soundscapes. The live shows are improvised and often involve collaborations with other instrumentalists. Recents guests have included Stefano Giust (Setola di Maiale records), trumpeter Andy Diagram (Two Pale Boys), flautist Marianne Antonis (The Sweet Harmonies), and South Indian Karnatak vocalist Shiuli Subaya.

The duo completed a tour of Europe in summer 2004 and joined forces with Stefano Giust, free-jazz drummer and head of respected leftfield Italian record label Setola di Maiala, for a series of live experiments.

To experience Rediffusion live is to be cocooned, startled and recycled in an aural melange of sweeping electro, undercurrent dub, and techno minutiae - often teamed with different visual artists.

Rediffusion are Karen O'Brien and Andrej Bako, both Londoners with longstanding production, promotion and DJing backgrounds.
